ya know... I watched the bit of clip that DJ put up - and I guess I'm probably setting myself up to be thrown tomatoes at, but ... eeewww! I'm so not sorry I've never seen that episode.
I stopped watching the show when it first aired, right around the time of either the clone-arc or the NK when I started feeling like "someone killed my show!!" I haven't yet gotten around to watching the entire set of S4 DVDs.... for various reasons, one of which is "but I don't want it to end!!" and another is "gah, some of these eps are so bad!"
Two minutes worth of clip and I'm right back there thinking someone killed my favorite show... is everything after the "Lois and Clarks" episode just as bad as this??

Are you in for a treat! Prepare yourself - in a few short weeks you'll be treated to Sue's Season Four. It only takes an hour to go through 20+ episodes. You'll learn, as I have, that there's no "plot" to the fourth season. It's just a series of excuses for them to kiss and take his shirt off. I find I'm happier about the fourth season this way. Back on topic - I never thought that was a real song. It was just too cheesy to be true in a fake jazz sort of way. Then again, I'm so distracted by the leather pants that it's difficult to concentrate on anything else. ETA: is everything after the "Lois and Clarks" episode just as bad as this?? No. It's worse. Much, much worse.
Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.
Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right. Ides of Metropolis

A full hour of Clark with his shirt off? The mind boggles, doesn't it? I must remember to pack an oxygen tank... ETA: You know what? I can't help but read that as "Clark with his shrit off..." <giggles> That is totally going to become my new mild swear word: "Oh shrit!"

Hahaha! Now you'll have me going "oh shrit" too. (and seeing a shower scene in my head all the time because that typo always does that to me) I wonder how long the clip would last if I put all the shirtless scenes back to back (or arm to arm... *drool*) -- I just might have to try.

There's no mention of a song in the end credits - normally real music is given a credit (title, artist, copyright, info). I never saw any of the songs credited on L&C, real or otherwise. Speaking of songs that were just written for the show, how about the song on the radio in Neverending Battle when Clark is painting his new apartment?

I am cutting the episode MP3 for the radio song in Neverending Battle. It sort of sounds familiar, but maybe they made it that way on purpose. Here's the song: Neverending Battle radio song malu

Lara and Sue: You realize it is remarks like the two of you have made in this thread that make me love the both of you so much. Oh the giggle I just had. And now I can't wait for this Sue version of season 4. I hope you are serious and not being a tease. LOL
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same way about the series from that point on. I always feel like someone is going to yell at me for it.

And now I can't wait for this Sue version of season 4. I hope you are serious and not being a tease. LOL oooh... I believe she meant she was going to be showing it to me "live" in a few short weeks -- I'm flying to her part of the world at the end of the month. (*insert ear-shattering SQUEE right here* !!) -- but hey, I'm sure we can manage to get that made into something to share with the rest of you. Malu - I listened to the clip, Google'd several excerpts from the lyrics, but I didn't come up with any song that matched them... One ep that I'm 99.9% sure we'd find the songs from on the net is "Wall Of Sound" -- Michael DesBarres is a real actual singer. And I'll betcha he sang some of his real actual songs, from some of his albums. He's the guy who replaced Robert Palmer at the head of Power Station -- hopefully that band rings a bell with at least one person here... They were one of the two "spin offs" from Duran Duran. (darn these guys were cute...) *lol* It should also be noted that DesBarres played the insanely annoying bad guy, Murdoc, on MacGuyver where he's teamed up with a character named Penny Parker a few times - who, it so happens, was played by Teri Hatcher. (my head is filled with useless tv-trivia such as this...)
