I know there is a lot of mistakes on Lois and Clark (as it's the case in most shows), but this one is probably the biggest mistake I've ever seen! The guy from the FX has really screwed up big time. See what I found doing some screencaps of season 1 for my website:

There's no image. frown Can you describe it?

Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.

Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right.

Weird. I can see the image. But since a picture is worth a thousand word, I won't describe it. I'll just repost it with another host:

mmm... I see the image, but it's dark and I don't know what the mistake is supposed to be?

You know... for a sec there (before I realized what folder this was in!) when I saw Sue had posted to a thread about a blunder, I thought for sure she was telling people about my dumb email story again.

See what you did, now? You got me all paranoiac! <g>

That's a screencap from The Rival, right, when Superman stops the elevator from falling, and Linda King took a picture of him?

malu

P.S.: I missed the wire on both pictures, also. Was looking at Superman. wink drool

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

There is also a scene in Battleground Earth where Superman arrives for his confrontation with Lord Nor and you can see *both* wires. Sorry I don't have a pic of the scene to show.

Yes, you're right. But these are still more discreet. Here's the picture:

Hmm, it must be rather uncomfortable being suspended by his briefs. No wonder he always looks so grim as Superman! wink

In the elevator picture, Superman's head and neck seem too big for the body.

Yeah it does look funny! (His head.)

His red briefs always look so odd (becuase of the 'flying' harness I guess). I prefer to watch him walking around.

*sigh* I guess I'll have to come to terms with our Superman not really being able to fly.

I've converted to lurk-ism... hopefully only temporary.

I never noticed those wires before in the episodes. I guesse I just have to watch them again :p
And it's true it does ruin the magic of superman a little bit frown wink (but not the magic of the show, ofcourse wink )

i also noticed that lord nor wire scene. Another instance that broke the magic and reality of the show is when in pheremone my lovely when lois says "its a good job that stuff doesnt have any affect on you, does it?" then superman looks at the camera, raises his eyebrows and goes hmm. i found that quite amusing.

"Oh no Lois don't. I may throw up!"

What's really strange about the Nor landing pic is his belly. Did someone take the phrase "six pack abs" a little too literally, or do Kryptonian pregnancies work like seahorses, with the males gestating the babies in a pouch?

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.
