Hey everyone!!

I was just watching season one on dvd and I noticed that Lois used the same coffee cup for most of the season. It is blue and has white
writting on it. Does anyone know what it says? It has been driving me nuts, but I can't figure it out.

I guess I must have imagined the DP Logo. From what I could grab from this picture and from what I gathered from squinting at the screen through this scene (Teaser for Vatman), the cup says 'The Best Man For The Job is Superman.' <g>

That would be cute.

Actually though, I suspect it might be "The Best Man For The Job Is A Woman". That was a very common saying back around that time. The kind of thing you saw on car bumper stickers all the time. And what with it being Lois...well it does kind of fit that she'd use something like that.

No. It was the first quote. Before that scene, Lois' sister was talking to Lois about finding a man, and Lois made a comment about how she would have to find "Superman."

It later showed that mug, which was referring back to that scene. I remember, because it was funny how they tied it together, and how later she would be in love with Superman. lol.

edit- nvm. The answer is in the pilot, minute 44. Pause when she pics up the mug. It will be clear.

All this time I thought it was "The Best Man For The Job Is A Woman". I actually was checking it out a few weeks ago. I'll have to investigate - me likes that. I'm surprised it isn't in Superman colours.

(later) - I looked and it has to be the above quote b/c Superman didn't show up yet and I see a 'w' at minute 44, 45 seconds. At this point you can also see "is a".

Hmmmm.....
