I think they did this on a poll and "Pheromone My Lovely" was the top or close to the top. "That Old Gang of Mine" was a big favorite too.
Personally, PML was the best, the *funny* was awesome in that episode. I'm glad that's a season one ep, because I'm about to wear the tape out and I have the DVD set on layaway.

Hmm...PML's probably my favorite, or anything else in Season 1 basically, plus The Phoenix in Season 2 just because Lex Luthor's in that one. He's my favorite villian.

I love most of season one, and *if* I had to pick a favourite I'd be hard pressed. I'll narrow it down a little... Green Green Glow of Home Honeymoon in Metropolis All Shook Up Fly Hard

I haven't watched all of them yet, but some of my favorites are the Pilot, All Shook Up and Season's Greedings.

Well, I'm one of those people who simply cannot whittle things down to just one favourite. Be it books or movies or favourite episodes of a show. It's pathetic, I know. I couldn't even give you a favourite season. Although, I could probably stretch to saying that S4 was my least favourite. I know that probably this isn't a new question Don't let that stop you! <G> A question might have been asked before, but it's always new to somebody and there are always new members joining the community who'll never have had a chance to answer it the last time it was asked because they weren't here. So it's always fun to revisit these things now and then. LabRat

Ooo this is a fun question. Tempus is my favorite villain so my favorite eps are Tempus Fugitive, Tempus Anyone, Soul Mates, Meet John Doe, and Lois and Clarks. Other favorites of mine include Leathal Weapon, Ultra Woman, All Shook Up, Whine Whine Whine, and Ordinary People. ~Anna

Oh my... one episode? You mean I have to narrow it down to one? Nope. Can't be done. So you get a list, Lolly, I'm afraid... In no particular order... - TOGOM (now, is anybody surprised? )
- The Pilot - full UK version
- Neverending Battle
- Strange Visitor
- GGGOH
- Witness
- BatP/HoL
- The Prankster
- Season's Greedings
- Tempus Fugitive
- Whine, Whine, Whine
- ATAI
- Tempus, Anyone
- Meet John Doe/Lois and Clarks
There are others I really enjoy, but these jump to the top of my list. And, in terms of seasons, Seasons 1 and 2 score way more highly for me over Seasons 3 and 4 - I think Lois's hair might have just a teeny bit to do with that. Wendy

I also have a list of episodes I love and the majority of them belong to S3 and S4...I think that one of my favourite is "We a lot to talk about", but I never seen the beginnig [the first 15 minutes] and I'm sorry about it

It's really hard for me to answer that question because I enjoy ALL of the episodes...although some of the storylines I enjoyed less than others...but that was only a select few. One of my all time favorites I will say is Soul Mates. I wish they did more episodes like that. I'm such a hopeless romantic...sigh...

Are you KIDDING?!!?!?!??!?!??!??? I can't even narrow it down to *TEN*, let alone one LOL. Can't really pick a favorite season either, though I'm probably in the group that prefered seasons 1 and 2 over seasons 3 and 4 (interesting how it is divided like that, pre-revelation and post-revelation I suppose). Okay here's a list of my top 30 (off the top of my head and not in any particular order): Season 1: Pilot Strange Visitor IGACOY GGGOH MOSB HIM All Shook Up Witness Rival BaTP/HoL Season 2: Phoenix Prankster TOGOM Season's Greedings Lucky Leon Whine Whine Whine Tempus Fugitive And the Answer Is Season 3: WHALTTA Ordinary People DTOSC Ultrawoman Through A Glass Darkly/BGDF Season 4: Soulmates Brutal Youth MJD/Lois & Clarks AKAS Sex Lies & Videotape That's the best I can do LOL! I venture to say that just about every single episode is a favorite of mine as they *all* have favorite moments in them ... even the "bad" episodes (IMO) like Smart Kids. Always great to ponder this question!

I might as well confess... I liked S4 Most of S3, too, except for the non-wedding ARRGH Favorites... Tempus Fugitive, WHALTTA, Ordinary People, Just Say Noah, Don't Tug on Superman's Cape, UltraWoman, Tempus Anyone?... Oedipus Wrecks was good, too... not so keen on the New Kryptonians (Through a Glass Darkly was the best ep of the lot, IMO)... Soul Mates, Brutal Youth, Dead Lois Walking, Twas the Night before Myxmas... and the rest of that season, except for the last three episodes. AKA Superman is very high on my list of favorite funny eps. If I had to narrow it down to one, I think I'd have to go with Don't Tug on Superman's Cape. It's got comedy and drama and angst and romance. Random thought... apparently, I strongly prefer post-revelation scenarios on screen (well, that and romance) but I always seem to write revelation stories, which means when I start out, Lois doesn't have a clue... I wonder if that means anything deep PJ

Cla and I really agree:
Season 1: - Neverending Battle - Pheromone, my lovely - Honeymoon in metropolis
Season 2: - The Phoenix - Lucky Leon - Tempus Fugitive - Whine, whine, whine
Season 3: - We have a lot to talk about - Ordinary people - Just Say Noah - Don't Tug on Superman's Cape - I Now Pronounce You (his choking up the night before they were supposed to get married, while they were telling their innermost thoughts, was wonderful; the episode was simply terrific until the writers killed it by the Lois clone's frog-eating and the collapse into the arc-from-hell) - Ultra Woman - Tempus Anyone
Season 4: - STG,TWNK - Soul mates - Sex, lies and videotape - Meet John Doe - Lois and Clarks - AKA Superman

I might as well confess... I liked S4 And, once you started reminding me of some great episodes, Pam, I realised I do too! See? This is why I totally suck at this. LabRat

Oh, definitely mostly eps from S1 and some S2, really--haven't seen any of the other seasons yet, though I have read the transcripts. (I definitely prefer pre-revelation, and pre-relationship.) Of the ones I've seen so far (in no particular order): Pheromone, My Lovely Pilot (full UK version--thanks, A!) Witness All Shook Up I've Got a Crush on You (there were some funny parts in that one) Fly Hard (just watched that one for the first time a few days ago) Honeymoon in Metropolis And ones I haven't seen yet but want to: The Prankster That Old Gang of Mine I think I'm going to like those.
Don't point. You make holes in the air and the faeries escape.

Can't narrow it down to one either. S1- PML S2- Whine,Whine,Whine and And the Answer is S3- WHATTA S4- Soulmates and Brutal Youth Season 3 is my favourite. I have a hard time watching season 1 & 2 without following it up with an ep when L&C are together.
Superman: I hear you've been looking for me. Lois: All my life.
