If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

I still don't get it after looking through all the lists of characters in the season 4 episode guides on tv tome. But there are few characters remaining that we haven't guessed so let's see ...

Harold Kripstly?

Yep Simba smile thumbsup

That's Toy Man from Toy Story. The TV tome does not give his real name. Lois and Clark found that during their research.

You are up next ...

"One man's felony is another man's skill."

Pilot episode, Jimmy to Lois: "How did you learn to boost a car?"

It might be "unusual", but as that's one of only 3 episodes I've actually seen to date (though I'm about to plow through Annette's collection, which she graciously copied for me), I am quite familiar with many of its lines. (And I didn't even do a search to figure it out, either--it came to me.) laugh

In that case, an extra thumbs-up for ya. thumbsup

Your turn, Doranwen. (So, does this mean we can narrow down the next puzzle to being from the 3 episodes you've seen? laugh )

Hopefully this is also an obscure quote. wink At the very least, it should be unusual, and fun, which is the idea of the game.

-----------/---/-/---------./--/------./--/------------.

And no, you can't narrow it down. (Crowd: Aw, darn . . .) Because, you see, there are the transcripts, and I have been reading through them. But you don't know WHERE I am, and I have a few episodes that are quite out of place, so I may choose lines from anywhere. laugh

Here are the 2 D's:

It's getting closer to recognizable . . .

And for the third vowel, lol:

E-E--R-----/AND/A/-OND---OR./SO/S----E./SO/RE-ROD-----E.

Interesting how some puzzles seem to attract all the vowels, and other ones are solved with only one vowel and a bunch of consonants . . .

This should be much easier now . . .

Maybe the L's will do the trick:

ELE--R-----/AND/A/-OND---OR./SO/S---LE./SO/RE-ROD----LE.

I think it's getting close to solvability for sure . . .

Lol, this game has been going on so long that that was the second time someone used that line! laugh Check out thread #4, puzzle by IsisLnC. (And as I compile lists of used ones, turns out "John Doe is a nice guy" was used twice now too, lol.)

How much does punctuation matter, I wonder? Earlier ones used none--and I would like to know if we're free to use phrases without putting punctuation between them--or if we can change it, say between commas, ellipses, semi-colons, etc. 'Cause I've got some great lines in mind for next time I'm up for it. laugh

Whichever. Doesn't make much difference either way, far as I can see. smile

I think, in a game like this, people concentrate on the words/letters rather than the punctuation, so it really makes no difference whether it's there or not.

Okay, next riddle:

--/--/-----/---/--/--/----, -/------'-/----/---/----/---/--/-----.

On a side note, I think punctuation is important. Maybe not 100% but it can help, right?

Doranwen: I hope you won't mind posting all the phrases when you're done compiling the list. So that we know which ones have been used. And, as I suggested some time ago, we could make the thread a sticky.

See ya,
AnnaBtG.

Or confuse, if it's punctuated wrongly. Don't anyone get any ideas there. goofy

Hmmmmm, plenty to choose from, since I'm first to guess. Let's see....I?
