Lois & Clark Forums Forums General Discussion Lois & Clark Lane Smith (Perry) Ill

We don't often focus on the actors on these boards, but I picked up some sad news yesterday about Lane Smith, who played Perry in L&C, which people may appreciate knowing. I haven't been able to verify this, but I gather that he's recently been diagnosed with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease).

I read it on supermanhomepage. It's so sudden, he looked as if he were middle-aged on L&C.

Kinda sort of. It says he was born in 1936 at imdb.com, so I guess he was in his late fifties or so during L&C...anywho, yeah, sad...
