Well done, Ken. I'm sure K-Comm appreciate the help. LabRat
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Just to let everyone know -
Last year, someone produced a .mobi file of all of the nominated stories. I have never done it before, but I am learning to do just that. I have collected all of the stories and will be compiling them into a single file for conversion.
If the person that did it last year will contact me by email I will send them the consolidated file ready for conversion. Lacking that I will work on it as diligently as I can. If I cannot have it ready within just a few days I will at least finish it and email a link to where it can be found to all nominated authors after it is ready.

Joining the chorus of thanks!!
Reach for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll still land among the stars... and who knows? Maybe you'll meet Superman along the way.

I have a whole new crop of stories to read? And they have been nominated for an award? Now, that is the definition of "hog heaven."
Thanks to all the excellent writers about my favorite subjects. I'm having a wonderful time reading these. Voting will be a nightmare to do correctly.

A slightly belated thank you from me, as well. Your list made it much easier for me to download and read all of the shorter stories I had not had time to read throughout the year.

We'd be happy to post your consolidated file on the archive for readers' use if you send it lcfanfic [at] gmail.com Thank you! Lauren W.

Lauren,
I have one more story that I am waiting on. As soon as I have it I will format it.
I have Sigil and Caliber and will produce the .mobi. As soon as I have it I will send it to you for posting. Hopefully early next week.

To all who may be interested:g the .mobi and epub files have been sent to Lauren for posting to the archive. I also have it as a Word doc for those wishing it in that format. If you do - simply send me your request and I will email it to you. Send your request to ken.janney at kjanney.com and put keywords Kerth and Lois in the subject line to bypass my spam filter.

It has been pointed out to me that the page numbers I have do not match up with the contents. The simple explanation for that is this - the page numbers are based on the original Word document and the pages in the .mobi file are shorter.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
