I'm looking for a beta reader for a very short piece (it's about 4,000 words right now).
It's a companion piece to "My Partner", but since I haven't written anything since "My Partner", which I think I wrote over a year ago, it feels very rusty and stilted to me. And since I also haven't had a chance to do much reading, I feel like my knowledge of LnC is a bit rusty, too. I'd like the story to stay in cannon, but I'm not sure it does currently.
It would probably be helpful to have read "My Partner" first, just to understand what I'm going for, but since the stories are supposed to be stand-alones, it's not necessary. On the other hand, if "My Partner" wasn't your type of story, this one probably won't be either.
