Let's give the last quiz a go.

From the quotes:
1 Clark may finally have gotten it, but I didn't.

2 Get the Story! by Iolanthe(?)

3 Ouch! That smarts! It's got to be an S4 Lois amnesia story. Hmmm... Terry Leatherwood's The Cold Shoulder?

4 ?

5 This is embarrassing. I definitely recognize the quote as being my writing style, and I think I may even vaguely remember that line, but I don't recall for sure what it is from. "Full Partners," perhaps?

6 Perceptions, by anaonpip

7 The Press Conference, by Female Hawk

8 This sounds like it might be in Clark gets Some Visitors, by Tank Wilson, but IIRC, that isn't an episode adaptation. But for lack of a better guess, I'll stick with that story.

9 I remember the story -- it was the one where Clark's fake map to Superman's spacecraft actually proved to be accurate. It involved a trip into a sewer, and Lois and Henderson were talking. Now, what was it called? Of course! Michael's 'The Wild Goose Chase'

From the excerpts (only answers different from above listed):

1 I remember seeing 'Confucius Clark' before, possibly even in a previous quiz. Still can't recall what it's from, though. :-( IIRC, the comment was made while they had to wait for a train to pass so they could finish their drive to Smallvile, and Lois was impatient to get going. Smallville...Hmmm... Could it be Dandello's 'The Smallville Connection'?

5 Yup. It's mine all right. Dr. Friskin's Letter. Since I recognized from the quote that it was my writing, and since I was able to identify the story from the excerpt, might I get at least a silver, if not a gold, star? (It can't hurt to ask. wink )

7 This sounds less like The Press Conference, but failing an alternative idea, I'll stick with my first guess.

A mediocre performance, I would say...And my guess for quote #5 was not my finest moment...But at least I didn't do too badly overall for this final quiz.

Thank you Amber and all the other quiz writers. The quizzes were a lot of fun. clap

Last quiz? You all did a great job with them. It's been really fun answering them this year.

Quotes:
1. Yay! Gold star for me. "Wasted Revelations" by yours truly.
2. ?
3. MLT's "Nowhere to Run"?
4. ?
5. ?
6. ?
7. ?
8. ?
9. ?

Sheesh. I'm glad there were only nine stories. Otherwise, I would be discouraged by all those question marks.

Excerpts:
2. Well, I recognize the excerpt, which means I read it. No clue from where, though.
4. ?
5. ?
6. "Perceptions" By Anonpip
7. ?
8. <sigh> I recognize this one, too. It's a Home is Where the Hurt Is adaptation, isn't it? Sam and Ellen see how much Lois loves Superman and worry about her engagement to Clark. See? I read it. frown
9. ?

Well, so much for finishing strong. At least I get the shiny, gold "recognized own story" star.

Quote # 1 Wait! Cherry stems. Then I thought, "What does Sue have to do with this story?" But then I saw that it was dedicated to her! Hah! The answer is: Wasted Revelations by BJ

Quote # 2 I know this! something about the Metropolis Waste Reclamation? Get The Story! by IolantheAlias (One of my favorites and I highly recommend it.)

Quote # 3 Why in the world would a woman not want to remember being engaged to Superman? =) Nowhere To Run by ML Thompson

Quote # 4 Night Witness by Mozartmaid (I enjoy playing Wolfgang's creations on the piano.)

Quote # 5 Dr. Friskin's Letter by Lynn S.M. (Oh, the things you learn that you wish you could talk about when you work in the psychology profession.)

Quote # 6 Perceptions by anonpip (I like Lois's musings here.)

Quote # 7 Superman's Laundry by bakasi (Gotta love Martha's daring nude pose.)

Quote # 8 Yep, this one sure got folks mixed up in my last quiz (even Bob). Like Father, Like Daughter by bobbart

Quote # 9 Another great homage to Lois' adventures in Metropolis' Sewer Department. Wild Goose Chase by Darth Michael.

Well, gosh, this was fun. It's too bad I started participating so late (other than writing quizzes, that is).

Well, my whole evil scheme to top this quiz while still being last overall was thwarted when I lost my overall last place, still evil . Nearly everyone used to google the answers not that long ago.

Spoiler space for today’s active topics. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer pellentesque metus nec arcu imperdiet sit amet laoreet augue egestas. Etiam vestibulum semper blandit.

Quotes:

1. Yeah, okay, but I haven’t…

2. I know that quote. Hmm… I *betaed* that quote. Iolanthe’s Get the Story!

3. It starts with confusion. But since this probably won’t mean Lois is telling Lex off, it only leaves ne story with an amnesiac Lois. Lois has Nowhere to Run on MLT’s island.

4. /shakes head/

5. clap I *was* wondering. Since it would be a perfect fit and all that blush So, if it walks like a goose and can be chased like a goose and has Lois in it, which makes it wild… laugh (The Wild Goose Chase by moi)

Excerpts:

1. Okay, I reread this for the Kerth season. Still doesn’t help clap
