Good Luck! [/QUOTE]

Thanks! I'm going to need it. I know already going into this that I'll do abysmally. In general, drama isn't my thing.

Well, here goes.

From the quotes:
1 -7: No clue
8: This quote at least sounds familiar, but I'm not placing it.
9: ?
10 Cold and Blood, by EvelynC?

From the excerpts:
1-7: Still confused
8: Still sounds familiar.
9: Still ?
10 Still Cold and Blood, by EvelynC.

Well, I lived down to my expectations there. Now let's see just how far behind I fall with this quiz. Sorry, Alisha, I think that for this quiz, I have probably stolen last place from you! wink

Thanks for putting the quiz together, Nancy.

Joy,
Lynn

OK, that wasn't very helpful.

Quiz 9... I wonder how many quizzes there are left? I suppose I could just count the Kerth categories and work it out, although IIRC there tends to not be a quiz for Best Overall. So, by that logic this is quiz 9 of 12. Well, that filled up a little bit of spoiler space, didn't it?

Quote 1: Familiar.
Quote 2: Again, familiar.
Quote 3: ?
Quote 4: ?
Quote 5: ?
Quote 6: ?
Quote 7: M'Benga... I do think I may have come across that name before, so I probably have read this fic.
Quote 8: TOGOM? Just guessing.
Quote 9: ?
Quote 10: Aw, but ?

Excerpt 1: ?
Excerpt 2: Dunno.
Excerpt 3: No, I'm so bad at this.
Excerpt 4: ?
Excerpt 5: No idea - why am I so bad at this? whinging
Excerpt 6: Now, I think I've read this... ARGH!
Excerpt 7: Oh, The Cold Shoulder by Terry Leatherwood?
Excerpt 8: ?
Excerpt 9: ?
Excerpt 10: Cold and Blood by EvelynC?

So, from those answers, I can expect a maximum of two points. Well, if you're shooting for last place, you've gotta do it in style! (That sounded good in my head, now I realise it makes no sense!) blush

No, there won't be a quiz for best overall. As to how many quizzes are left, I'm just not sure. I'll get with Amber and check.

10. Nope…

Okay, the quotes didn’t go so well…

Excerpts:

1. Still a blank…

I'm going to enjoy that first place feeling while it lasts.

Quotes:
1. Hmm. The Henderson reference should help, but...
2. ??
3. ??
4. Female Hawk's "Treasure Chest", I think.
5. No idea...
6. ??
7. Oh, M'Benga should be *such* a clue, but... ??
8. Aha! Lara Moon's "Different Directions"
9. ??
10. Gee, Clark obsessing about Lois' safety. I might as well select a story at random...

Well, that first place feeling sure didn't last long. Let's see if I can at least round out my score.

Excerpts:
1. Still no clue
2. Okay, that was pretty clear, but I either missed this one or I'm completely brain dead. :grumbles:
3. Superman flying a baby to Smallville in a carrier? Can't be much more specific than that, can you? Still don't know.
5. Nan's story. "Games People Play"
6. Lois' apartment was destroyed ... this sounds vaguely familiar...
7. Okay, I'm officially farblondjet. I don't even have an inkling of an idea...
9. Sounds great - I love self-aware Lois. I'll have to read it once I find out what it is.
10. "Cold and Blood" by Evelyn C? Wow, I wasn't expecting *that*.

Yeah. That was embarrassing. I'm sure I read more drama stories this year than just the few I recognized.

So how'd I do? Did I score at least 0.75 points?

Sadly enough the only one I know is #9 - Vanity by anonpip. Looks like I have some reading to do!

I'd like to also recommend "Treasure Chest" by Female Hawk (at least I think that's a drama - if it's not, then I don't know what is laugh )

But thanks for the quiz, Classicalla! smile

Reach for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll still land among the stars... and who knows? Maybe you'll meet Superman along the way. wink
