I'm still not sure whether my answers for 2 and 3 are correct. Part of me wants to switch them around. But as I tell my students, unless you have a compelling reason not to do so, it is better to go with your first instinct. I've seen far more students change their answers from correct to incorrect than vice versa. So I'll keep my own advice. I hope this isn't the exception that proves the rule...
