Not because I have writer's block or anything. My computer is freezing every 5 minutes and other problems are popping up daily. My antivirus went flooey yesterday and I spent most of the day fixing it.

Bottom line, my computer is about 11 years old and is reaching the end of its lifespan, and I have to get another one if I want to continue writing without having to reboot every few minutes. This, of course, means about a week of working on it to get it running the way I like. Hopefully I'll be able to continue to work on Smallville as soon as I get Office installed, however. I have about 2 pages of the next part done, so I am working on it. I'm just having computer problems.

Anyway, I'll have the next part up as soon as I can.

I hope it's only software problems and not hardware problems.

Why not do a backup of your data and reinstall the operating system (if it's only software problems)?

Anyways, take your time with Smallville. Don't risk trying to finish a large part and lose it all to computer problems.
