Well, I'm about to send off my last available story to Lauren for upload this weekend. I have three or four out being edited, but none of them are likely to be sent back by their GEs before next Wednesday, I suspect.

So, if you don't want to see the new stories page empty next weekend for the first time in the Archive's history, I'd suggest you hotfoot it to your pcs, have a good old rummage through your hard drives and fill up my submissions inbox with some mail. wink

Uh oh. Mine would be one of the three or four stories still out for editing. It's still not ready, but I did send you something small in email. Let me know if that will buy me another week. wink

I cave to your plea. I only have 1 story, but it's on its way. wink

The responses to the cold/blood challenge would be suitable, I think, even if they're "only" drabbles. They're fun to read, too.

Thanks to everyone who've sent submissions in so far. Drabbles/short stories are, in fact, just perfect right now as they enable me to quickly GE them myself and get them up on the upload queue.

RL is a bear this week, but assuming it calms down, I'll try to send in my Cold and Blood and The Hottest Team soon. Female Hawk did a response to The Hottest Team. How does that work for submitting?

"All the Daytime and the Nighttime" is almost ready to send to you. My choice now that I have some time is that or writing "Nighttime in the Daytime."
Both will get done soon.
regards

Thanks, HG and Artemis.

It's entirely up to you. You and Female Hawk (should she wish to submit her story) can send them in as separate stories. Or you can collaborate, put them together in one story file and submit them that way, if you prefer.

I just sent you "Exploring the West with Lois and Clark." I had totally forgotten that I not posted my section of the "World Tour" by ML Thompson here. Next is "All the Daytime and the Nighttime." It will be another day.
cool

Here I am, reading this thread and thinking it in no way applies to me, since I haven't finished anything. And then I see this:

How did it never even occur to me to submit this to the archive? Me, of all people, LOL.

Guess I need to find some time to send it in!

Yes, Kathy, please do! And everyone else who wrote anything for the Cold and Blood challenge. I've sent mine in and I'd love to see an entire collection. It's never too late for someone else to join in, either. Just start a story...any story...with those two lines: It's cold. I taste blood.
