Hi Folcs,

I'm looking for a story from the archives (I think) in which Superman tells Lois that he has a secret identity but he's not sure she really wants to know what it is because she might not like it. It's in the context of her wanting to date him. I know that's a fuzzy description, but it's all I've got in my fuzzy brain. Anyone know what I'm talking about? TIA.

Hmm could it be Missy G's Strangers ? That was the first thing that popped into my head but I'm not sure it's right...

Thanks, Carol, but that's not the one I'm thinking of. I'm looking for one set probably 1st season. Lois knows Clark and she's doing the mooning over Superman bit and for some reason Superman actually does the "do you really want to know" bit. That's really all I can remember and it's driving me nuts. Maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about.

I seem to remember that he actually gives her the choice. Like A. I could date you as Superman, but that's not really who I am or B. I could make up a new identity and date you in public in disguise or C. I could tell you who I really am but you won't like it. Then she gets wondering why he's so sure she wouldn't like it. Is he a criminal? Is he Ralph? etc.

Any leads? Anyone?

I think this is an ML Thompson story, but I can't for the life of me remember the title. It's set while Lois is dating Luthor, and I think Clark comes to her as Superman and offers her those choices. Maybe someone else will remember the title?
