I can't remember most of the story. But I remember towards the end, Lois and Clark apply to work at the Daily Planet. They are already married. Lois suggests a salary that is exactly what Perry can afford. Lane and Kent have already won lots of awards and due to Lois' knowledge of the future, they were able to bring down Luthor and break several major stories. At the end of the story, the two of them will soon have uncharted territory ahead of them since Lois' knowledge of the future runs out.
I thought that when Lois joined Clark and Perry in Perry's office she commented about Clark not starting with the gecko story... even with a hunt for "geckos" on the archive can I locate this. Driving me nuts to know I read it, know I loved it... and not be able to read it again.
