Nancy, of course your nursing skills are more important than our entertainment any day though. Thanks for all that you do; I know it's difficult sometimes. I'm looking forward to your story, Lara, and am certain that Sapphire will love it.

I've managed to finish mine but I have no idea if it's any good... hoping I can get someone to look it over before posting, but maybe I'll just put it out as is... PJ who wishes she didn't wait til the last minute
"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed. He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement." "You can say that again," she told him. "I have a...." "Oh, shut up."

I finished mine, as well, but I don't want to post it without hearing back from my beta reader. It's her first time being a beta reader and she was both excited and nervous. I would hate to blow her off at this point.
Anyway it's my fault that it's late. I was the one who got stuck on a scene.
Elisabeth who is a terrible example

Well, I've talked to the person I'm writing for, and she said she wouldn't mind if I waited to have it beta-ed, so I'm waiting.
It's mostly done, but trust me it can use polishing.

I know I've said so in my FDK thread already, but I felt it needed repeating: Thanks so much to Carol and Elisabeth for setting this all up -- there have been a lot of really great stories to read (I, uh, still need to leave fdk for some, ahem) and I think it's a pretty cool thing. I actually had fun playing with these characters again, too. Hope the experience hasn't put you off organizing more. Statistically speaking.... [oh ya, I'm a dork.] ~Lara [who's going back to bed after attempting to post her Kerths quiz. lol!]

Even though I am having some issues DSDragon's story will be posted, even if Elisabeth has to do it. James
