Ok, I give up. I've been trying to remember the title/ author of this story, and I'm not even sure anymore if it's one story or parts of different stories I'm remembering...

It involves Clark/Lois arguing, she hits him with an outbox and thinks she's broken his ribs...

he later accuses her of comparing him with claude and him not appreciating the comparison.

any suggestions?

I would assume she is talking about one of the bins you put on your desk for incoming and outgoing mail/papers.

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.
