Are any other non-countries mentioned in the series? Particularly European ones?

We have Latislan and Podansk in SLV, but were there any others?

Thanks smile .

Hi Carol!

Tanzor and Fostonia, too (Chip of the Old Clark). At least one, I think Fostonia, has nuclear capabilities. I'd say they're fake ex-soviet republics.

Were either friendly to the US? Or would they be in a more modern setting? I need somewhere friendly to the US... I think they'll end up in London briefly eventually, but before that...

Maybe I'll send them to Switzerland or Austria or something...

Is there any other fake countries that are sort of general use fake things? Like Oceanic as a fake airline when things go wrong [most famous in LOST but also in a number of films etc.].

Thanks for the quick response smile .

You're welcome smile

Friendly to the US... Good question. Oh, and according to the script, the nuke was Tanzanian. They did have a nice crowd and kid-hugging and so on going on outside of the Tanzanian consulate in honor of their president/general.

And in case you still need help with Austria, let me know wink

Hmmm... you're in Germany aren't you Michael?

That actually would work... Doesn't the US have an air base there?

Would you PM/email me if you might be able to help with that?

Thanks smile .

Austria, actually smile

But the most famous airbase in Germany is Ramstein (there are some more installations, IIRC).

Isn't the US setting up/reinforcing/expanding their missile-defence shield or something in Eastern Europe... I seem to remember an agreement with Poland being signed very recently (as in 2 or 3 months ago... or less?)....

I don't know much about it,
but there should be tons of info floating around...
