From what I can remember, Clark leaves Metropolis and has some sort of amnesia, possibly around the time of Lois' wedding to Luther. Lois is devastated and ends up writing a book about lost loves in his absence. She then goes to this coastal town years later and finds him but he doesn't remember her. I think Clark gets angry when he finds out the truth because she didn't tell him in the first place.
That's about all I have to go on. I read it a number of years ago I think. And I don't remember if it was gfic or nfic. Thanks in advance for any help!
