Thanks for that list, Tricia. So I gather only 1 story has been made eligible that wasn't uploaded to the archive in 2007?

I also have two more persons on my 'list' for BNA: Elisabeth and JDG. Could you maybe clarify why they are absent from your list?

Saskia, JDG has stories on the archive under a different name. Elisabeth was eligible in 2005 for 'That Old Gang of Rhyme'.

OK, I'm new to all of this, so can you explain how the nomination process works? How do we send in nominations, and how many people/stories can we nominate per category?

The nominating ballot is now up. You can use that to sent in your noms.

As for how many stories you can nom, look at the faq: They're all so good, and it's so hard to choose. Can I nominate more than one story per category? Yes, but try to keep it within reason. If you can, try not to nominate more than ten stories per category. Most things are probably covered by the FAQs on the Kerth site , so I suggest you take a look around there.

Mercy, estefi and choucky should be included as new authors. (Unless, of course, choucky wants to wait until she has finished.)

I'm off to bed, but I did a quick check, Elisabeth.

From what I can gather from the TOCs, Mercy should definitely be on the list, having posted three complete stories during 2007. Unless there's some other reason she's not, that the TOC doesn't reveal. On the face of it, she should be though.

Estefi and Choucky only posted one story each and it's still a WIP, not complete, as far as I could see, in both cases, so they won't be eligible this year. Eligibility for BNA, AFAIK, like all other categories, is based on completed stories and WIPs don't count.

But this was a fast check, so it's possible I missed something and someone could either confirm or refute the above.

Uh, actually, that list doesn't have the stories broken down on it. It's an FAQ about the Kerths and how to nominate, etc.

The stories are not grouped in categories because some stories qualify in more than one category. For example, "Platonic" could be in best relationship/best drama/best overall, and some of the shorter stories could be best waff/best revelation/best comedy, etc.

It is probably a lot easier to just list the stories and let the voters pick the categories for which they want to nominate them. Assuming people look at the lengths, it shouldn't be too hard, and at least for me, I knew the stories that I knew, and it was pretty obvious which categories they fit into.

That being said, this has been really fun so far and I'd like to thank the K-Com for all of their hard work to organize the Kerths. It's very appreciated!
