Suggest me some NFics/PG-13 Fics to read and cuddle to myself before going to sleep... (I just lent my novels to my sis *sigh* ) not the hot, steamy, unusual situation or humpin' n pumpin' stuff... just soft, tender, in-the-bed, by-the-fireplace, loving, romantic, soothing etc. etc. preferably vignettes since I'm gonna get printouts.

A recent one that is perfect for your request: Field of Dreams by Caroline K.

You're welcome. On Annesplace, I recommend the "Dayzs" series by Menolly (14 short and sweet vignettes) and Too Much Too Soon by Laurach, Stopquitdont, and WandaD.

Oh yes, yes... please do gimme some longer stories (upto 100KB) too, I probably won't print it, but I'll read them again. The thing is, whenever I scan through the 500 odd NFics I've got in my hard-disk plus the 800 odd Fanfics, I sorta miss re-reading the wonderful middle-length stories. The bigger ones are catchy and I can remember the story plot well, but the small nice ones sorta escape... Thanks for the suggestions... please do keep posting

Anything by CC Aiken is wonderful. In my opinion, no one comes close to CC when it comes to portraying Clark's love for Lois, and the way it finds expression both in sex and passion and in caring, consideration, tenderness and awe. The sweetest CC nfic is a part two of a challenge, where Lois and Clark do it on the conference room table. Does anyone remember the title of it? Sadly, I don't think it has been uploaded anywhere. But if I remember correctly, it won an Nkerth last year.

Not to hijack this thread but this is about fanfic reads, does anyone know where Debby Starks old fics are? I read them years ago but I can't find them again. I remember they were really well written, very enjoyable stories. I am sure they were nfics.

You'll find a lot of Debby's stories on the Archive here . I can't remember reading any nfic from her, but that's not to say there aren't any. My memory for that long ago is pretty hazy these days. LabRat

Ann, I believe that is The Friends We'd Do For A Friend. Search for the title in nfanfic TOCs. CC wrote the alternative ending.

There have been a ton of favourites threads posted in the Fanfic Related forum over the years. So if you're looking for ideas on something good to read it would definitely be worth checking back through the pages. Most of them are easily identified by their headers. Or you could put 'Favourite' into the search engine for this folder. Happy hunting! LabRat

Or you could put 'Favourite' into the search engine for this folder. Or "favorite," just in case the topic-starter was American.

This place is truly one of the nicest boards I visit. I know exactly what you mean. It's the only board I regularly come back to--even after a long hiatus. I don't even go back to Zoomway's boards now unless I want to post a fic or something.

No one seems to have suggested Yesterday, Upon the Stair by CC Malo. You have to read that one, Coolgirl. It is a PG-13 fic, and you find it at the Archive, but has the most sweetly sexy and perfect ending that I have ever come across.
I agree with what others have said about Field of Dreams by Caroline. It is one of the gems of these boards.
