I know, I suck at remembering titles. I don't remember what this is called, but I do know that Lois and Clark are fighting, he takes her to Smallville and leaves her there, and his mother is mad at her, too. And there is a cat that Lois befriends in the barn ... Yeah, I guess I suck at descriptions, too.

Clark: "You don't even know the meaning of the word 'humility,' do you?"

Lois: "Never had a need to find out its meaning."

Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.

Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right.

Lol, I just happened to have emailed Caroline that very message yesterday when she told me she was my br. If I had to choose an all time favorite fan fic "If I Were You" would definitely be it. Maybe I'll go re-read it. smile

Late last night, I did exactly that (for, like, the fourth time). It definitely stands up to re-readings. In fact, I'd say that the repeated readings have only increased my awe at how beautifully tight the writing is. The story idea, the development of the characters (including Jonathan, Martha, and even <shudder> Lex), and the believability of how Lois and Clark find their way into honestly loving each other for who they really are is nothing short of exquisite.

notworthy notworthy hail
