That sounds like one of my favorites!

It's Tea Totaled by AnnieM and Kathy Brown - the reason why I definitely have to try Long Island Iced Tea sometime laugh

Is Julie Star's story Time Enough For Tears what you were thinking of? Lucy isn't in the bar, but Lois most certainly does get drunk, and Clark does his bit to rescue her...

The theme seems similar to what you are after, anyway... This one isn't nfic. smile

If nothing else, this story has one of my all time favourite lines in it:
Quote
She was clearly still in a good mood. "Oh, Clark, don't be such a grumpy-pants."
Chris

Edited to add: Schnuffichen got in first... AND gave the right answer! Oh, well...

fic is short for fanfiction. Or fanfic... anyways, I'm usually too lazy to type out the whole word, so I use fic a lot as well =D

(And bah. You should hear/read my German. It's scary! Although if I ever get stranded in Germany, I can always ask for a beer. laugh )

If you want an nfic where Lois is drunk, at least in the beginning, you may try Going, Going, Gone by the Gorn.

Well, that's a beginning... and you'd get very far here and make a lot of new friends laugh

Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.

Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right.

Well, beer isn't too hard to pronounce in German, is it? (Bier is pronounced basically the same as beer. Well, nearly. wink )
