Do we know who wrote Clark's obit? Was it Perry? And is it likely that Lois might have proof-read that - or at least gone over it to make sure it was right?

I don't see a byline here, but obviously the lead is still missing. I think Perry wouldn't have wanted to burden Lois with writing or even just proof-reading something like that, but knowing her she might have insisted. So I think you can go ahead and say she did.

Yes, there's a scene with Perry and...Jimmy, I think...where Perry is looking at the mockup of the paper and they discuss how Jimmy feels about Clark dying. C_A pretty well sums it up. I think you're safe to make what you want of it. LabRat

In one of my earlier stories Lois and Clark, as a lark, or whatever, had written one another's obituaries. That might work for you as well.
