Heh, yeah, another one of these. I read this story a while ago, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details (it even might have been an nfic, but I don't remember).

Anyway, there was another asteroid like Nightfall headed to Earth, only this time Lois and Clark are married and have kids. Clark has to go even though it's pretty much a suicide mission. They take a vacation (up in the mountains, I think), and just spend time together as a family before he leaves.

Hope that was enough detail, I don't want to ruin the end for anyone who might be interested :p

Thanks for any help,
Jessi

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

I read "For the Greater Good" again yesterday. What a fantastic story! clap

I've loved all of Wendy's stories (that I've read), and this was no exception. FtGG has an interesting premise and is filled with all sorts of wonderful saddness, love, angst, joy and friendship. notworthy

I've always liked Bernard Klein, and loved it that he worked so hard to save Clark. He's a true hero in my book.

I read that fic not so long ago and I loved it. It was so beautifully sad.

I just read For The Greater Good yesterday for the first time, I didn't want to read it because I thought it'll be too sad... and it was! I cried like a little baby from page one right up until I realized Clark was trully alive.
It is trully a great fic thumbsup
