It was pure luck I found this fic and don't think it was ever shown here. Hope you enjoy it, I'm going to read it now. Here's the link below smile

Actually there is a fic that I want to recommend as well over at fanfic.net. It isn't actually based on the show, it is based on Lois & Clark from the comics, but I wanted to mention it because it is really good. Please note it is a WIP.

If you see a good fic posted elsewhere, you could always leave the author a note suggesting that they post it here and/or at the Fanfic Archive...

I've done that a couple of times, and that's, for instance, how tvnerdgirl came to these boards - and got nominated in a couple of categories in last year's Kerths wink So it's definitely worth pimping the main L&C fanfic venues.

Wow okay so I know this thread is really old, but I just *have* to revive it.

"Getting Eaten Alive" is absolutely wonderful! I just finished reading the first two chapters and they are both incredibly well written. Though the story really is more like Superman Returns fanfic, I truly think a lot of FoLCs would really enjoy it. I think that's because it's got angst to it that is very well written and almost disguised. A lot of very deep psychological insights into our two favorite characters, in fact making the comic book/movie CK/Superman so much better than he is usually written.

Hear hear! It's just *fabulous*, angsty, poignant and subtle. Lovely and marvelously written. Do not dismiss it just because it's at FF smile

Tandrelmairon has a new story at ff.net called Shatterfall. Only two chapters up so far but god they are good.

OH YESSSS.

Thanks for the heads up Mrs. Mosley!

In case anyone else is interested, this new story is aaaawesome! hail I highly recommend it. (And this comes after reading only the first chapter.) Tandrelmairon has a way with the Lois/Clark/Superman relationship that few other writers have developed. It is not exclusively LnC in nature, but I feel it is the best of all Superman worlds.

I have to comment because I just read the first chapter just now and what gets me is how fresh her POV on the characters is. This fic walks the line in a way precious few do and her plots always give plenty to chew on.

Wow. I feel like I've been through the ringer. Does really good fanfic do that to anyone else? Anyway, I just loved Getting Eaten Alive. I couldn't put it down. Thanks for the heads up on a new author!
