Following on from Anna's fun grammar thread (oh, how we love a good grammar debate laugh ), I'd appreciate your views on another small matter.

"Are you finished with that yet, because I'm tired of waiting."

"Are you finished with that yet, because I'm tired of waiting?"

Which is correct?

I would say the first one, because the sentence is no longer a question...

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Yeah, I agree with Ankit. Or I'd reword it a little:

"Are you finished with that yet? Because I'm tired of waiting."

Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Ditto Labrat.

Although some old-school people might object to a sentence beginning with the word "because", I really think it solves a multitude of issues. And, as you can see, I break the rule about conjunctions beginning sentences all the time just because I can.

That's the whole thing about English grammar; once you know the rules, THEN you can break them. I agree; Wendy's is the one to use primarily because it's easier to understand. When it's broken into two sentences the character's tone comes out more clearly. But that's strictly my opinion.

I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!
