Lois: Can I go? Clark: No. Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go. Clark: Then why do you ask? Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Hi, Sweet. Well, they would return to Metropolis next week and ride out the storm of their fifteen minutes of fame. She would rid herself of the burden of Lex's money, and then she and Clark and Superman would go to work as a team to find out who had tried to kill them. The "Mrs.", whoever she was, was going to find out the hard way that she had tangled with the wrong people.
And then, when everything was back to normal, she and Clark would be married quietly. Their partnership at work would become a partnership in life.
That was going to be the most thrilling adventure of all.
The End Great story. But I expected to see what was happening in Metropolis, the donation to the foundation, the search of the mysterious woman a little bit more of the smallville vacation. MAF
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

This was great, Nan! A thoroughly enjoying read to say the very least. You do what I find hugely admirable when it comes to writing, and that was to make a story with very little setting change and a fairly straight forward plot *completely* enthralling all the same. I loved your character development throughout. Hope you don't mind me gushing like this :p Although I'm gonna have to do back up vocals with Wendy on the "This Needs a Sequel!" chorale. Thanks for the fun read
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

Hi Nan, I like this end Nan, but it can't be 'The End'. You still have a lot of loose ends to tie up and I look forward to another Nan sequel. Yours Jenni
