OP lynnm Top Banana Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 1,090 Chicago USA	Okay, here's a question for you all. What is the past tense form of the verb to glide? Because when I write this: The girl glided down the staircase, her feet barely hitting each step. ...it looks really weird to me. Is this correct? Does it look strange to anyone else? I know glid is not a real word (as in, the past tense form of to hide is hid), but I cannot figure out what else to use. Lynn You know that boy'd walk on water for you?
