Woohoo!!! Alt-Kerth nominations!!  Congratulations to everyone who's been nominated! And I have no idea how I'm going to vote here. This is impossible! So many excellent choices. I can see that I'll be doing a lot of reading and video/trailer-watching! Second, thank you to everyone who nominated me here! I'm stunned and delighted.  Best of luck to all the nominees! OMG AHHHHH!  Holy Moly! I was nominated in three catagories! What an honor for a first time video maker to get the first video I ever made nominated. Awsome. Although, it is going to be hard to vote. All the videos are just great as are all the other topics nominated. Congrats to all! Good Luck!  ~Lois Lane Wanna Be PS: I will be on a cruise during the ceremony on July 9th. In 4 categories, no less! I'm shocked. Especially about "Best Comments Giver." How the heck did I get onto that list?  Lois Lane Wanna Be... It's *possible* that you'll be able to make it. Ship to shore net time is not, in my limited experience, cheap, fast, or at all reliable. You're out in the ocean, trying to maintain a satellite connection while moving with who knows what going on overhead and sharing what bandwidth you can get with a bunch of other people. Not to mention the fact that bandwidth priority (quite reasonably) goes to crew members keeping track of things like GPS and weather conditions. So, expect a slow, shaky connection for which you're charged by the minute. Theoretically, you'll be able to log in via the undernet's web java portal. Remember this URL: http://www.undernet.org/webchat.php (Or just remember to go to http://www.undernet.org and then click on "webchat.") It doesn't always work, but it's your best bet from one of the ship's terminals. You might want to try it out from home first, so you can get used to the interface. Congrats to the people nommed!!! And Wow. I never ever expected to be nomed! I can't believe that!! There are so many talented Story, video, and trailer makers out there and for me to be place in a ballot with them is amazing. It's wonderful to have people like something that has brought fun in to my otherwise boring life <G>.

Well... I'm not officially back for a few days, but I *really* needed to say this:  Multiply that by the number of times I saw my name on the lists and add some misty eyes... erm... I know I'm late to the party, but I hope no one will mind if I throw in my two cents, well gratitude, in here anyway. First of all, I am just so amazed, stunned, flabbergasted, in need of oxygen and totally and utterly honoured to be nominated in the Best Trailer category. And wow!, not just one, but five!! Who needs to win the lottery when you get this?! Oh, and I have to use this opportunity to just thank *everyone* - everyone who took on the idea and tried making trailers themselves and didn't laugh in my face <g>, and to those who watched them and encouraged so many in here to make so many more. On a very personal note, THANK YOU LabRat, Wendy and Lynn for letting me use your stories to create this - it's just the most fun ever!! Also, CONGRATULATIONS (to all I've made trailers for, really) for writing the most fantastic stories that inspired me to do this in the first place!
