This is a question for the American FoLC:

How would you describe Mickey, Pluto or Donald? How do American kids call these cartoon drawings?

1) ...... Lucy's favorite Disney character

2) ...... Lucy's favorite Disney figure

or?? huh

And before you ask: yes, I've written a new vignette and sent it off to my BR.
As soon as she returns it and I've corrected whatever errors she finds I'll post! laugh

But this Disney thing is bothering me. So, please help me out?

Thanks!!

Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique.
Clark: You certainly are unique.

Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that?

Definitely not 'Disney figure'. I'd probably say 'Disney character'. As in 'Mulan is my favorite Disney character' and it goes for movies, too, 'Mulan is my favorite Disney movie'.

Hope this helps!

'character' it is then. laugh

I wasn't happy with 'figure' anyway.
That applies to those plastic action dolls, right? Not the drawings in the cartoons.

Thanks Laura!!
