this little scene popped in my head:
Lois and Clark are dating; Lois is coming out from Perry's office and thinks that Perry is right: to have a boyfriend is good for her.
N.B. Clark is not working at the Planet, I think, perhaps he's a writer.

Can you help me?

Well, I hesitate to suggest it's my own "Lost and Found" because while Clark *is* a writer in it, I don't remember writing a scene where Perry tells Lois he thinks a boyfriend would be good for her.

This is so funny! I re-read "Lost and Found" yesterday (great story Jeff! I love it!), and then I remembered that scene (which I become to think I've just dreamt about)!

I've got it!
I was mixing two different scenes: the first when Lois tells Perry she's dating someone, the second when she's getting dressed for her date with her boyfriend and says to herself that Perry was right, having a boyfriend was good for her. Her boyfriend is assistant DA CJ Kent! The story is "An extraordinary man II: trials and triumph" by Chris Carr!
