I just came across this author's foreword on a story on the Archive: This story started out where I was determined to make sense, and not have a MAMOSOH twist where nobody except me would get it ...but ...it doesn't make much sense, and it does have a BIG MAMOSOH twist. If you get it, I'll be suprised. I don't think I've ever seen that acronym before. Anyone know/recall what it means? LabRat

Ok, I couldn't find an answer, but I did find this clue. Hope it helps.
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Geez, not just a FoLCdom acronym - a personal FoLCdom acronym. Pretty much no chance of satisfying my curiosity then! :p Ah, well...thanks for providing that, Rivka. LabRat

I guess not, unless someone knows who that particular Sarah is. Or another member of the Krypton Club from that time period might recall the acronym?

LabRat,
I got in contact with Sarah Gevlin, and she told me that MAMOSOH stands for "Me And My Odd Sense Of Humor".

Wow - thanks, Malu! I had no idea she'd still be around after all this time. It was a very old fanfic that the reference was in. Cool! LabRat
