Yeah, first to post! Loving a new story so soon. I would have thought that the cocktail sauce would have set off the ulcer too. Love seeing someone falling in like or love. Hope it isn't too good to be true. James I'll update the main outline when I get a moment.

Poor Strike Commander Fong! He's definitely in the wrong profession.
I saw some of this awhile back and it looked really interesting, but it was nowhere near finished. I can't wait to see what happens in this!

I re-read the story before i started editing it. I'd forgotten how good it was -- if I do say so myself. <g>
Since there probably won't be many readers, let's use this as the feedback thread for the whole story.

FDK Part 2:
Yeah, more Jason and Trev. So three years have passed. Since the last story.
The title of the story is intriguing enough, but adding a pirate showdown is like frosting to the cake.
More soon please.

FDK 3 : Wow, so Wing seems to be a psychic and Fong seems to be connected to her.
I have got to reread this entire series. Reading them out of order is messing with my mind.
In Slave Race. Blashvor's name was Blashvar for a while. Remind me why that was?

FDK 4: Best line goes to Blashvor. Fong, awaken Jason and stop brooding about Miss Wing. Be assured that she is quite fond of you -- more so than she is of my servant Trevor, whom she simply admires for his animalistic attraction." James

When a male Jilectan's father is still alive, the suffix to his name is "ar". After his father has passed on, the suffix changes to "or".

The Skelzir! Was this mentioned in a previous fic? (I haven't read the whole Terran Underground series.) Things sound ominous. Is the globe thing self-willed? If not, who is sending it after Blashvor et al? How are our heroes going to get out of their plight?

The Skelzir Globe was prominently featured in "The Crystal Demon".
Briefly, the globes are alive, powerful psychics and inimical to other life forms. They are extremely dangerous, as Blashvor said, and as will be demonstrated later in the story.
For a better understanding of the globes, read The Crystal Demon. It's a fairly long story, and in it Alan Westover meets his female psychic partner, Lyn Parnell and you learn how the first one was destroyed.

Ah, the joy of skelzir globes! Definitely not something I'd ever want to run across! I think I'd want one of those artificial mind shields the Centaurs came up with if I ran into one, kwim?

PS: When can we expect more? I don't have a lot of fun fiction to read right now!

I'll get it done as soon as I can, Janine. I was in the hospital from Friday to Monday, with a kidney stone, blocked ureter and sepsis. I was hooked up to IV antibiotics and getting stuck for blood every time I turned around, day and night. I'm finally home and trying to get caught up.
