I was working on a re-write of PML when I had a thought strike me. What if Lois had figured out some what to justify "playing hooky" (maybe because it would be TOO loud and busy in the office and a change in scenery might help inspire a different perspective or something. Then, when she comes back into the office she finds the whole Planet "looney tunes in love" and gets assigned to "love-oriented" assignments (of course fluff-articles in her terms.)

I know where I could imagine this going but would love to see what people come up with.

CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
