There is a bit of backstory mentioned in Cat-Tails which this thread reminded. In that universe Lois and Selina Kyle(Catwoman) met for the first time when Selina was in Metropolis stealing some plans from LexCorp. Lois was looking for a story, Selina was looking for a hostage, worked of for both of them. IIRC Turned out Lex had hired her so he would have an excuse for why the device in the plans was in the hands of criminals. He then double crossed her and didn't pay.

Just mentioned as a paragraph of backstory. I'd like to read the whole thing.

So, you want to read a story where they meet like that, or in a different situation/setting?

You know, I could imagine Selina (married to Bruce) being interviewed by Lois. Let Bruce and Clark sit in another room of Wayne Manor (the Batcave?) and listen in on the interview... Hmmm...

I'm pretty sure that their original meeting is canon for DC (the comics), though I couldn't say which issues.
