In the offtopic section I posted a pic I found . That made me think of a crossover I haven't seen and would like to. Lois in Africa on the gun running story crosses paths with the Phantom.

I had to smile when I saw that picture and read your suggestion.

I have been trying to work on a story along these lines (well, sort of) with the working title of "Lois Lane Meets The Phantom" for over a year. I have pages of notes and at least two false starts so far. In fact, this is the "Congo" story that I referenced in my muse discussion from seven months ago here .

If my muse ever decides to come out of hiding I have high hopes that it will be my next non-short story. If I do manage to produce a non-short this year (ever again?), this will be it.

How about putting that together with Last Name with Clark, who is not yet Superman, using the Phantom comic book costume as a cover to hide his actions. After all who would believe a comicbook hero came to life.

Have you seen my much-in-hiding muse? That is a (the?) key element of the story that I have been trying to bring together for 18-months.
