So I'm watching Ripley's believe it or not, and Dean does his "end of the show" bit where he brings out some weird item and talks about it. The items in this piece were metal talons that are strapped to a fighting rooster's leg and all of a sudden the story hits me.
Lois and Clark investigate underground cockfight rings. Clark has all this farm knowledge and Lois maybe has a soft spot for the poor birds. Underground gambling, maybe some highbrow folks involved(football players, city officials, business owners) and all the humor potential involved.
