Reading the other pheromone/space rat threads got me to thinking... Suppose the pheromone had affected Clark---now, there are already fics out there where Lois and Clark wake up together, and so forth...but consider this: The pheromone was based on the power of smell. Clark has a Heightened Olfactory Sense. Superman can smell C4 in a room full of sweaty people who've had the 3-bean special. What happens if you combine *That* nose with a dangerous smell-based compound? The effects of the 2% compound would be multiplied, but how much so? (That gag with the cat breaking out of his cage after tasting the 100% solution *was* just a gag, right??) What happens when Clark is running around in a love-struck haze long after everyone else has snapped out of it? Also, needless to say, if that were the case, then there would be no way that Superman could handle Miranda's 100% solution the way he did in the show. Another solution...er...answer would have to be found. Thoughts?

Super Stud, by ML Thompson, awesomely written, funny and heartwrenching story. Poor Clark, and Lois, she's got no willpower like he does. *sigh* Super Great STORY!!!

Oooh, yes it is! However, that one is set *after* PML. I was kinda hoping to get a coinciding---well, nevermind. Maybe it's just asking for too much trouble.

I think that would be a funny premise too, Clark thinking that since the lower percentage didn't work, that the 100% will have no affect and then as the day progresses, all he can think about is Ms. Lois. I hope someone else tries. Anything based on PML is almost bound to be great.

Nan's Pheromone covers that premise somewhat briefly. Although, hers deals with the 100% taking effect, not the 2%, but the result is somewhat the same.
I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence? I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.

On the German board, we're indulging in a Round Robin covering the premise of the pheromone compound taking effect on both Lois and Clark. Unfortunately, I don't know how long it will take us to finish it, for there are only four of us working on it. And then, it still needs to be translated. But we're all agreed to publish it - eventually.

I don't remember the name of my own freakin' story. Spring doesn't come after summer - unless you count that one year in Europe... Spring Comes After Winter on LJ. This is the seriously nfic version.

Don't get me wrong, but our Round Robin is strictly nfic, too. And I don't think we'll be able to pg-fy it. Unless someone comes up with a plot, that is.

Unfortunately, I don't read German. So I guess I'll have to wait for the English version. But PML does so lend itself to smut.

It seems to me that there might be a Tank/Wendy challenge fic that deals with this theme as well. No idea what the name of it is now. EDIT TO ADD: It's PLM, Oh Boy I'm not sure it's quite what you're looking for, but it's along the same lines. ML

I wouldn't bet on it, though.

I'm afraid that Clark's resistance to the pheremone lends weight to the argument in the first section of Larry Niven\'s \'Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex\'

And when exactly is this inspired romp going to be posted? Possibly after it's finished. And I can't tell you yet when that will be because we just decided to forget about the deadline. We're only four authors, and one of us prefers not to write the very *cough, cough* graphic scenes. So, it will take some time to finish it.

I've always believed that the movie Superman II was influenced by that article.

Dandello is now posting "Spring Comes After Winter" on the nfic board here. Take a look. It's different and good. Artemis
