Ok I loved the story by Sue, Faustian Bargain, the whole story, but what I was thinking is a story kinda like that one but where lois ends up pregnant and does not tell clark, because she thinks for some reason he does not want it or her, like maybe overhearing part of a conversation and taking it the wrong way, or something else, i don't really know, thats up to the author. I just think it would be interesting to see how a story like this would unfold with lois trying to hide it, or maybe leaving town, or something else.

oh and sue, I'm looking in your direction, lol eek

Hi CK!

I just wanted to mention that this story idea reminds me some of Queen of Capes story For the Love of Mike

Great story btw (DJ has been a bad reader and not given enough fdk on stories lately and/or started stories and not finished them yet...)

In that story Lois does have a child, Mike, and she moves away from Metropolis, not wanting to burden Clark with the consequences.

Just wanted to mention that - but as it's been said before... ideas are done and redone many times, so who's to say it can't be done again. wink

If I remember rightly, it's also the premise of Chiara's Together Again

But, yes, I'd agree that doesn't mean other authors can't run with it. Infinite diversity and all that jazz. laugh

Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

ohh, I love Together Again by Chiara!
CK, you really have to read it! A similar premise is in
Mixed signals by Stopquitdont, (but the baby is not *Clark*'s child wink ) and in Cause and effect by ML Thompson; I'd love to read new stories on this subject! smile1
