I was just reading a fanfic
The Darkest Hour (Before the Dawn) by Erin Klingler
wherein Trask has Lois & Clark, some Kryptonite and are trying to find out when the alien invasion will occur.
Lois has just found out clark is Superman.
There are a number of fanfic dealing with Trask and the like coming after Lois & Clark.
What if just after Lois found out Clark is superman some folks from New Krypton, Zara & body guard Ching arrive and rescue Lois & Clark?
Add in Lord Nor & his baddies and maybe Clark will have a REALLY hard time getting Lois to believe him?
And Trask and the like will now have their proof!
