I went to a job-related waste management seminar earlier this week - the seminar was a complete waste of time, since the speaker targeted it at the wrong audience, but it got me wondering about the problems that the EPA offices in Metropolis must have to deal with - too much lead being incorporated into buildings, weird glowing green rocks being dumped down the sewers, sonic booms at very low altitude, nuclear reactors with questionable heat discharge systems, etc. etc.

Not sure how this would work - maybe some letters from the desk of the local EPA director?

Trouble is I don't know enough about the EPA to write this myself, and I think that the British systems are different enough that anything I write would probably ring false to anyone who knows the real organisation. But I hope someone feels up to writing it.
