Clark Kent, the Red-Caped Kryptonian

By Emily M. Hanson

Disclaimers: I don’t own any of the characters from Lois & Clark, nor did I write the lyrics to “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” The credit for the original lyrics goes to Robert May.

Clark Kent, the red-caped Kryptonian
had a pair of very shiny boots
and every time he wore them,
all the villains would cut loose!

Luthor, the meanest bad guy
would laugh at him and call him names,
but Clark Kent, the red-caped Kryptonian
would haul him off to jail.

Then one sunny work day,
Clark Kent and Lois Lane
teamed up for a news story --
the Daily Planet would never be the same!

Oh, how Lois Lane loved him
as she shouted out with glee --
“Superman, the red-caped Kryptonian
you’re the only one for me!”

I believe there's a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. -- Aunt May, Spider-Man 2
