Yes, I know, the two universes don't really mesh well. I also know that the theory Bernie mentioned does not have a lot of strong research behind it. But the idea behind this story gave me a chuckle anyway, and I figured that despite the weaknesses I just mentioned, it might make other people's days a bit brighter, too.

As always, all feedback welcomed.

Just so long as he doesn't switch to the boxers he saw Perry wearing in that wacky Season 1 dream with the DP staff all dressed up in Superman costumes. shock

Better the boxers than Cat's thong.

Virginia, it was my pleasure.

Colleen, that would certainly disappoint the distaff population.

BJ, I don't even want to think about that image. I agree: dizzy

Cute! It made me think of this. It is set before Lois knows about Clark's other job.
--------------
Lois ran quickly down the ramp from the elevator at the Daily Planet. Making a beeline for Clark's desk, she stopped there and looked at him with great excitement in her eyes.
Clark loved looking at her when she was all fired up about something. It made her look so...hot!
"Clark, Clark, you'll never guess what I saw!"
"What, Lois?"
"Superman!"
Clark smiled a little. "You see Superman all the time!"
"But Clark, when did he start wearing red board shorts?"
At that, Clark blushed a bright red.
----------------
For those not into surfing, board shorts are loose and cover from the waist to above the knees.

Actually the new uniform is so much better than the red briefs. In this case change is GREAT!

Oh yeah, the story was cute too!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Perfect, Lynn...wonderful story to read while I'm waiting for our dinner to come out of the oven tonight clap ...

I could just picture Dr. Klein starting to babble away in the second paragraph--with that look that he gets on his face when he is uncomfortable blush

Thanks for the read--loved it!

Artemis, thanks for giving me a smile with your answering sketch.

Morgana, I'm old-fashioned; I prefer the briefs. But with over 75 years behind him, there are enough versions of Superman, and enough versions of his costume, so that everyone should find at least one they like. (And I must admit, he is looking might good for a septuagenarian. wink )

LMA, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad the bite-sized story served as a good dinner appetizer.

Kismatt, I hope you had pleasant dreams.
