We don't. I assumed it given the description that Shayne gave us of Lois finding Clark in New York.
There wasn’t a hint of recognition in his face, but it was clearly his face.
Now Shayne didn't mention that Clark had a full beard and long hair, (which he still might have), but I assume that Clark looks much like he did before he was lost. If I had lost my memories, but couldn't shave my beard the way most people do, then I might put two and two together and come up with Superman.
I could be wrong, though. I'll just have to wait for part two to find out more.
