No, no, no!!! This was really mean! You can't possibly tell us he's going to miss his date with Lois... Have him come clean!!!!
Now, a little more seriously (not that I didn't mean all of the above) I simply loved the interaction between the two, but this one bit I think is my favorite in the whole fic so far:
Lois took her hand from her jacket pocket and examined it. "I forgot to bring my gloves," she said. "So this hand might get cold." She held it towards him with a little smile of invitation.
