How rude! Didn't Japan know to control its tectonic plates? Why did they have to move right now? Superman needed a day off.
I was on the edge of my seat during Penny's confrontation with Superman, willing Clark to find a way to turn her suspicions.
Penny wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. "But I am in danger. In danger of falling, falling madly in love with you." She placed a soft kiss on his cheek and moved to his lips.
<growl> Back off, blondie!
And poor Clark! His state of absolute panic when he returned to Lois was superbly written, Laura! Wanted to give him a hug. <G>
"Her? Senorita Psychopath?
Thank goodness Clark has Lois batting for him on his team!
And then, after all that, you wrapped this up with a wonderfully waffy final scene and this:
Their love could survive anything.
I enjoyed every moment of this story, Laura. Almost sad it's over.
