His tux was hanging in a bag in Lois' closet. It wouldn't take him long to actually get dressed even without using his gifts.
OK clearly Clark did NOT get a job with the Planet. He is of course going with Lois as her escort to Lex Luthor's White Orchid Ball. At least this lets us know they are still on good terms.

But I don't think it is going to be bad. Clearly Lois has found Clark's notes and first draft of the Theater story she didn't feel in the mood to write.
