I always said Tempus was too cocky for his own good. He never sees any holes in his plans.
So far, everything seems to be going well. Still, is it going to work out in the end? Why WAS Carol asking about divorce and remarriage? Naturallly, I'm assuming she was talking about Clark and Lana divorcing, and Lois and Clark getting married but I don't KNOW that.
People assumed she was talking about Lois and Clark divorcing in "On the Other Hand", as well, which was incorrect.
She could have been talking about Ellen and Sam. Or it could have been someone else (Perry and Alice, maybe?) It could have even been plans for a different story (although I'm pretty sure she was working on this story at the time, but that doesn't mean she didn't have another idea for another one).
