What can I say, I'm tired of writing FDK: Honesty.
for some reason I thought you meant you were tired of writing feedback for this story, and I got this very sad feeling inside. goofy Good for you for mixing it up a bit! And thanks for giving me the ego boost!

Now that things are out in the open does it mean we're coming to the end soon? I hope not!
As it stands right now, this story will be 18 parts long. I still have to run a couple parts through my BR, so that number may grow or shrink slightly, but that's what it looks like it's going to be.

I think you did an incredible job at making the story seem so timeless. I only notice that when Jon said that he was born in 1998, or when Kaylie said that her childhood hero was Kim Possible. But the story feels so timeless.
Thank you. Whenever I read stories set in the future, I find that if the author has added in a bunch of futuristic technology it is more often than not a distraction rather than added authenticity. In this story, I have carefully avoided specific remarks to technology, as I'm aware it will be very different 15+ years from now. It's difficult though because technology is such a part of our lives even now, and I'm sure that role will only increase over time. But I've tried to be as abstract as possible when talking about technology so I'm glad to hear you have no problems connecting to the story even though it is set in a different time period

Nice job! I really liked this section.
Thanks Laura!

The way you mixed Jon's (we finally get to call him Jon) K-issues with humor.

Maybe I'm dialog hyped from some recent rereads, but pt 13 is just - wow.
Wow, thanks Michael! But I have to tell you that I'm having a hard time fitting through doorways because my head has swollen so big. wink

Kryptonite? Inhaled a burning marijuanah field?
Okay, these comments should come with a warning so I don't burst out into laughter in the middle of the library. Have you ever seen birds get drunk off fermented berries? They fly all loopy and run into things. Seriously, it does happen! Okay, imagine that, but a person instead and flying over a field...

The explanation doesn't have to do with pot, or fermented berries. Part 14 will explain all.
